Dodds brings experience, education and training in creating and leading aural rehabilitation (AR) sessions. Aural Rehabilitation sessions are group sessions where new and old hearing aid users have access to a learning forum. These sessions are designed to give patients an advantage as they go through the process of adapting to their hearing aids.
Dodds believes the best patient is an educated one. Through these sessions, the patient will be able to further understand their hearing disability, learn how to make their hearing aids work the best for them, and above all, know they are not alone in this stage of life as they get to interact with fellow hearing aid users.
